But scratch the surface, and the picture gets murky. Despite the bounce, NVIDIA is trailing the rest of the semiconductor pack. Year-to-date, the stock has only gained 5%, while the PHLX Semiconductor Index has rocketed nearly 94%. Such a yawning gap tells a clear story: investor capital is flowing to rivals like Intel and AMD, whose shares have surged 250% and 152%, respectively. In short, this is a subtle yet unmistakable sign that NVIDIA’s iron grip on the AI throne is loosening.<\/p>\n

BofA Global Research’s Bubble Risk Indicator for Semiconductors is sitting at 0.91 out of 1.0\u2014dangerously close to the red zone.
